
Red Bulls Set for Thursday Night Battle with Atlanta United FC at Red Bull Arena

HARRISON, N.J. - The New York Red Bulls (7-5-5, 26 pts.) are set for a battle with Atlanta United FC (5-6-4, 19 pts.) on Thursday, June 30 at Red Bull Arena. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG, MSG GO, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
Coverage on MSG begins at 7:30 p.m. ET with the Red Bulls Pregame show. Steve Cangialosi will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing and Michelle Gingras.
New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 7 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Stefano Fusaro will carry the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities, beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET.
This will be the 11th overall regular season matchup between New York and Atlanta, with the Red Bulls holding the advantage with a 6-0-4 mark. The Red Bulls have posted a 2-0-2 mark against Atlanta at Red Bull Arena, outscoring them, 3-0. Atlanta currently sit in tenth place in the Eastern Conference and are coming off a 2-1 loss to Toronto FC on Saturday, June 25.
The Red Bulls have won four-straight home games across all competitions, outscoring their opponents, 12-2, in those matches. New York have posted back-to-back clean sheets at Red Bull Arena for the first time since 2021. The Red Bulls have 27.15 expected goals this season, which is third highest in MLS.
Midfielder Lewis Morgan has played in seven career matches against Atlanta United FC, while he was with Inter Miami CF the last two seasons. In those seven matches, he has posted three goals and two assists, which leads active New York players. Morgan's seven MLS goals, which leads the club, ranks tied for third among active MLS midfielders this season.
