Minnesota United Announces NutriSource as Official Partner

Minnesota United FC News Release
GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Minnesota United today announced NutriSource as an Official Partner of the club. Located in Perham, Minnesota, NutriSource has been producing healthy pet foods since 1964.
"As a Minnesota based company, NutriSource is incredibly proud to partner with Minnesota United FC. This partnership is extra special to us as it gives us an opportunity to shine some light on a cause we are both passionate about, the bond between humans and canines," said President of KLN Family Brands Chase Rasmussen. "We're thrilled to share the Service Dog of the Game, highlighting some of our veteran and first responder teams who trained at The Spot by NutriSource."
Starting in the upcoming 2024 season, fans can expect to see NutriSource's presence at home games inside Allianz Field in numerous ways, first including the Open Training session, presented by NutriSource, on Tuesday, February 27. At the open training session at Allianz Field, fans will be able to watch the first-team players practice as they prepare to host the Columbus Crew for the Home Opener on Saturday, March 2.
Along with the Open Training session, NutriSource will activate throughout the gameday experience, including:
Service Dog of the Game Video Board Feature: Minnesota United and NutriSource will recognize a distinguished service dog at each MNUFC home game, working with The Spot, a local non-profit organization that supports first responders, veterans, and others in training service dogs
Pups on the Pitch at Allianz Field: This summer, MNUFC and NutriSource will host Pups on the Pitch at Allianz Field, bringing together Loons fans and local adoption agencies...and adorable (adoptable) puppies of course. A date during the middle of the summer months for Pups on the Pitch will be determined at a later time
"Pets have a unique ability to bring a smile to anyone's face and have always had a special bond with our MNUFC team. Partnering with an historic, Minnesota company in NutriSource while working with a local pet-training facility, The Spot, to train service dogs for their next life journey was an important piece for our partnership," said Minnesota United EVP, Chief Revenue Officer, Bryant Pfeiffer. "These dogs that are trained from The Spot will provide companionship and service to children who are in the hospital, along with veterans and first responders who need the assistance. We are happy to honor an individual service dog at each MNUFC home game in the 2024 season and allow their story to be told to our fans."
As a perk, Minnesota United Season Ticket Members can expect to be invited to a pet-friendly event during the 2024 season at a date yet to be determined, yet another bonus from the club's new partnership with NutriSource.
