JACKSON, Tenn. - The Miami Marlins announced a transaction that impacts their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to tonight's game against the Jackson Generals at The Ballpark at Jackson at 7:05 p.m. ET.

Right-handed relief pitcher Brad Mincey has been transferred from High-A Jupiter to Jacksonville. Mincey pitched in four games in relief for the Hammerheads, going 0-1 with a 16.88 ERA, allowing 10 earned runs in five and a third innings.

Mincey missed all of 2013 recovering from right ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) reconstruction (Tommy John) surgery. Mincey was selected by the Marlins in the 28th round of the 2011 draft out of East Carolina University.

The Suns roster now stands at 24 active players and a revised roster is attached.

Tonight the Suns are set to throw out left-hander Justin Nicolino (2-1, 1.84) while the Generals will counter with right-hander Stephen Landazuri (3-1, 1.96).
