Rockford RiverHawks News Release
LOVES PARK, Ill. - The millionth fan in Rockford RiverHawks history will be flying away later this year.
Katherine Moe of Rockford came through the gates of Road Ranger Stadium for Friday's game against Lake Erie. Moe, the millionth fan in the RiverHawks' 10-year history, won two plane tickets from Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD).
"The fact that we've enjoyed the sustained level of success to reach 1 million fans is testament to the support of a great fan base and a wonderful partnership with the Stateline business community," RiverHawks general manager Brad Sholes said. "Congratulations to Katherine. She'll have a great trip flying from a great local airport that offers many destinations to choose from."
The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 19th season. Advertising and ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255. Fans can also visit www.rockfordriverhawks.com.
