JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Miami Marlins announced a pair of transactions that impact their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp roster prior to tonight's game against the Biloxi Shuckers at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville at 7:05 p.m.

Outfielder Brian Miller has been transferred from Jacksonville's temporary inactive list to the active roster after attending a wedding over the weekend. Miller is hitting .321 with no home runs and seven runs batted in during his 21 games played for Jacksonville.

In a corresponding move, infielder J.C. Millan has been transferred from Jacksonville to High-A Jupiter. Millan played in 11 games for the Jumbo Shrimp, hitting .200 (4-for-20) with two runs batted in.

The Jumbo Shrimp will conclude their series with Biloxi at 7:05 p.m. Monday, when Jacksonville right-hander Merandy Gonzalez (0-3) is scheduled to face Shuckers right-hander Trey Supak (0-6). Gates open at 6 p.m. for VyStar Credit Union Charity Begins at Home with Habitat for Humanity raising funds through ticket sales and the Launch-A-Ball promotion. VyStar Credit Union members can get a buy-3-get-1 free ticket special by showing their VyStar credit or debit card at the box office. Half-Price Yuengling Monday means 16-oz. Yuengling cans are half-price.
