JACKSON, Tenn. - The Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, took an 8-7 lead in the sixth inning but gave up 13 unanswered runs in a 20-8 loss to the Jackson Generals Sunday night at the Ballpark at Jackson.

Zach Gibbons finished a home run away from the cycle, going 3-for-4 with a pair of runs scored. Jack Kruger had a three-hit game, and Jose Rojas added his 13th home run of the season in the third inning.

The BayBears (48-43 overall, 11-12 second half) erased a three-run deficit and grabbed an 8-7 lead in the top of the sixth on a two-run Riley Unroe triple. However, Jackson (50-43, 11-13) responded with a six-run sixth and a seven-run seventh. Former BayBear Rudy Flores hit a two-run homer off Daniel Procopio (0-1) in the sixth, and Daniel Robertson hit a grand slam in the seventh.

It was the largest margin of defeat for Mobile and set season-highs in both runs and hits allowed. The Generals plated 20 runs on 21 hits in the game. All nine players in Jackson's starting lineup had a multi-hit game.

The BayBears wrap up the five-game road series against Jackson Monday at 6:05 p.m. CDT. Right-handed pitcher Joe Gatto (3-3, 7.05 ERA) is scheduled to make the start against righty Ryan Atkinson (3-10, 5.13 ERA) for the Generals.
