July 16, 2018 - Southern League (SL1)
Mississippi Braves News Release

PEARL, MS - Monday night's game between the Mississippi Braves and Pensacola Blue Wahoos has been cancelled due to rain and the forecasted flash flooding for the area. Because the M-Braves and Blue Wahoos do not meet again, the game will not be rescheduled.

Fans with tickets to Monday's game will be allowed to exchange their tickets for any of the M-Braves remaining regular-season home games.

The shortened series results in a 2-2 split with the season series being won by Pensacola, 16-9. The Blue Wahoos also lead the all-time series, 69-67. Pensacola is on top of the South Division by 3.5 games over Biloxi and four games over Mississippi with a 16-8 second-half record. The M-Braves have won eight of their last 12 games and are 12-12 to open the season's second half.

The M-Braves will enjoy their lone day off in July on Tuesday and begin a five-game road series at Montgomery on Wednesday night at 6:35 pm. Coverage will start at 6:30 pm on 103.9 WYAB and the free TuneIn Radio app.
