
Milkmen Come up Just Short in Series Finale at Kane County

GENEVA, Ill. - The Milwaukee Milkmen played their final game in Kane County this season Thursday night.
The Milkmen for the third straight game this series got out to an early lead. This time in the first inning, Gabriel Cancel doubled to score Rudy Martin Jr.
Kyle Mora then gave up a run in the second inning that tied the game back up. He finished up his night going six innings while allowing three total runs on seven strikeouts.
Milwaukee then made it a one-run game after Cam Balego smashed a solo home run in the eighth and made it a 3-2 ballgame. The crew then attempted to tie the game up in the rest of the eighth inning and ninth inning. They were able to get a man in scoring position but were unable to bring them home as the Cougars took the game and series.
The Milkmen did outhit the Cougars 10 hits to eight, the offense will look to keep the momentum going as they turn right around to take on the Lake Country DockHounds at home tomorrow.
