Miley to Reno, Layne Back with BayBears

Prior to tonight's contest between theBayBears and Montgomery Biscuits at Hank Aaron Stadium, the Arizona Diamondbacks and the BayBears have made the following roster moves. LHP Wade Miley has been promoted to Triple-A Reno. Miley is 4-2 with a 4.78 ERA for the BayBears so far this season. After a slow start, Miley has rebounded and has allowed just three runs in his last four starts. He posted a 1.98 ERA in the second half of last season for the BayBears. To replace Miley, LHP Tom Layne returns to the BayBears. Layne was called up to Double-A in the second half of the 2009 season. He won 12 games for the BayBears last season. He's 7-3 this season but has a 6.25 ERA for the Aces. The BayBears currently have 24 active players on their roster with 1 on the disabled list.
