LAKEWOOD, N.J. -- Mike Zagurski's bobblehead will come to life on Tuesday, July 29, as the former BlueClaws' lefthander will appear at the ballpark to sign autographs for the Lakewood crowd.

Zagurski played a key role in the BlueClaws run to the 2006 South Atlantic League championship, providing a consistent and effective arm out of the bullpen. On May 25, 2007 he made his major league debut with the Phillies, becoming the fastest player ever to make the transition from Lakewood to Philadelphia.

The first 2,000 fans of all ages through the gates on July 29 will receive the Zagurski bobblehead, courtesy of RE/MAX of New Jersey.

"Mike was definitely a fan favorite when he played here in Lakewood," BlueClaws General Manager Geoff Brown said. "It is going to be a whole lot of fun to have him back here at FirstEnergy Park."

He is currently on the Phillies disabled list as he recovers from elbow surgery.

First pitch for the game is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. as the BlueClaws take on the West Virginia Power, the Class A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.

The BlueClaws return to Lakewood for eight games starting on Friday, July 25. To purchase tickets for any of the upcoming games fans can go to BlueClaws.com, call (732) 901-7000 or visit the FirstEnergy Park ticket office.
