Midwest Division Showdown Tonight

Rockford, Ill.- Two big standings points and playoff hopes are on the line tonight as the Rockford IceHogs take on the Milwaukee Admirals at 7:05 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank Center.

The IceHogs are trying to catch the Admirals in the Western Conference playoff race as the Hogs sit in 11th place with 71 points while Milwaukee currently holds the seventh spot with 75 points. The IceHogs have some ground to make up with only nine regular season tilts remaining, including three (including tonight) against the Admirals.

The first 1,500 fans through the turnstiles tonight will receive an IceHogs "Misery Never Thrilled So Many Fans" t-shirt, compliments of the Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, Graham Spencer, Rockford Park District, PR Etc., Guerilla Graffix and the Illinois Office of Tourism.

Tickets for tonight's tilt are just $3 (excluding lower sideline and VIP seats) as the IceHogs have teamed up with the RACVB's Misery Loves Company campaign in response to Forbes Magazine ranking Rockford as the third most "Miserable City." The meeting between Rockford and Milwaukee is the 10th in the season series and the Hogs have posted a 4-4-1-0 record against their Midwest Division foe.

The Hogs lineup has been shuffled since their last outing on Saturday against Oklahoma City. Forwards Jimmy Hayes and Jeremy Morin were returned on loan from the Blackhawks today while forwards Mark McNeill and Phillip Danault joined the team yesterday following their Major Juniors seasons.

Next Home Game: Sunday, April 7 vs. Peoria Rivermen at 5:05 p.m. It's the Hogs 14th annual jersey auction as the IceHogs will don special "Abrahammy Lincoln" jerseys that will be auctioned off following the game. The first 2,500 fans to the game will receive a commerative Abrahammy Lincoln coin, compliments of Lou Bachrodt.
