MIDLAND, Texas - Midland scored five runs in the sixth to break a 2-2 tie and hand the RoughRiders a 7-2 defeat Saturday night.

SYNOPSIS

* Midland's big inning came right after the Riders had rallied to tie the game on a two-out RBI single from Preston Beck.

* Frisco's other run came on a RBI single from Juremi Profar in the first.

* Starter Pedro Payano fired five strong innings, yielding two runs on four hits, in a no-decision.

* Peter Fairbanks tossed a perfect eighth inning with two strikeouts in his Double-A debut.

* Christian Lopes: 2-for-4, 2B, 2 R
