Michael Wilson Comes Back to Orlando

Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears announced today that D Michael Wilson has been returned to the team from the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Wilson was loaned to the Sharks on January 9, picking up one assist in 10 games with Worcester. He had played in all 36 games for the Solar Bears before going to the AHL, notching two goals and 21 assists for 23 points. His 21 assists were second among all ECHL defensemen at that time, and he was seventh among league defensemen in points. The North Vancouver, British Columbia, native has played in 95 games in his AHL career, earning 21 points on six goals and 15 assists. He has played in 125 games at the ECHL level scoring 57 points on seven goals and 50 assists.

The Solar Bears have suspended RW Dan Gendur, who has elected to leave the team to pursue other opportunities, and have placed F Dan Dries on the 21-day Injured Reserve.
