TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: With back-to-back wins under their belt, the Cyclones return home tonight to open a four-game home stand at U.S. Bank Arena as they welcome in the Fort Wayne Komets. The Clones have accumulated a eight of a possible 14 points from their Indiana foes this season with a 3-2-2 record. Not surprisingly, the match-up has been close all season long, with both teams netting 22 goals.

TONIGHT'S PROMOTION: NASCAR Night / $2 BIG BEERS - Fans are encouraged to wear their best NASCAR attire, with a cash prize being awarded to the best outfit. Plus, fans 21+ can enjoy $2 24-ounce Labatt Blue and Molson!

SCOUTING THE KOMETS: Al Simms' club was bested by the Colorado Eagles last weekend, dropping two of the three meetings out west and now trail the Cyclones by eight points in the North Division standings. Brandon Marino has continued to rank among the ECHL's best in overall scoring; he has earned 56 points (15 goals, 41 assists) in 49 games which is second among all players. Brett Smith, who has been strong against Cincinnati this year, places second on the Komets scoring list with 37 tallies (11 goals, 26 assists) in 46 contests. With Ken Reiter and Charlie Effinger both out of the lineup, Marco Cousineau will be in net tonight for the Komets. This season, the Anaheim Ducks prospect has amassed a 3-5-0 record and a 3.41 goals-against average. Versus Cincinnati this season, he is 0-1 with a 3.05 GAA.

Pacan on the Rise: Cyclones rookie David Pacan had another strong weekend and remains among the league's top first year players. He has collected a team-leading 39 points (11g, 28a) and ranks fourth among ECHL rookies. What's even more impressive, he's posted these numbers in seven fewer games than any of the players above him.

Another New Guy: On Tuesday, rookie forward Jack MacLellan was assigned to the Cyclones by the Milwaukee Admirals. In 33 games in the AHL, the 24-year-old had 2 points (1g, 1a) and eight penalty minutes. Prior to going pro, he spent four seasons at Brown University where he collected 101 points in 121 career games.
