
Mets Back Home for 3 Games Starting Friday

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - The St. Lucie Mets return to First Data Field on Friday for a brief three-game home stand against the Daytona Tortugas.
Although the weekend series will go by quickly, there is a lot to take in over the three days. Highlighting the home stand is Bark in the Park and Back to School Night on Friday, a postgame Faith Night concert on Friday, Paint the Park Pink on Saturday, fireworks on Saturday and the Ice Bucket Challenge on Sunday.
Below is a full list of happenings for the three days at First Data Field:
Friday - 6:30 p.m.
-Bark in the Park: Bring your doggie to the game for $2! Proceeds from dog tickets go to the St. Lucie County Humane Society.
-Back to School Night: Any local K-12 student can pick up a free ticket at the box office.
-St. Lucie County Board of Education Night: All employees of the St. Lucie County Board of Education can acquire a free ticket at the window.
-Family 4 Pack: Receive four general admission tickets, four sodas and one family size popcorn for only $20.
-Faith Night Concert: The original Faith Night concert was postponed due to rain. This is the makeup date. The Treasure Coast FCA Worship band will play after the game.
Saturday - 6:30 p.m.
-Paint the Park Pink: The Mets host their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night. The team will wear custom jerseys to be auctioned off online with money benefitting Making Strides of St. Lucie County. Fans can bid on the jerseys through qtego.net/qlink/mets or by texting METS to 79230. Bidding is live through Sunday at 12:59 p.m. Fans are encouraged to wear pink. Those who wear pink will receive a raffle ticket for a prize.
-Geico Giveaway: The first 250 fans through the gates will receive a Mets Bluetooth speaker courtesy of Geico.
-Postgame fireworks presented by Seacoast Bank!
Sunday - 12:00 p.m.
-Klutch's Kids Crew Day: All kids club members get in for free.
-ALS Ice Bucket Challenge: The Mets will hold their annual postgame Ice Bucket Challenge to support ALS Awareness Month. Contact info@stluciemets.com if you would like to participate.
