Mets Activate Pedro Beato off Injury Rehab with Bisons

The New York Mets today announced they have activated RHP PEDRO BEATO off his MLB injury rehabilitation assignment with the Bisons. The Bisons also announced that RHP EDGAR RAMIREZ has been promoted to the Herd from Double-A Binghamton.
Beato appeared in six games with the Bisons, allowing just one run in nine innings of work. He also won a pair of games in relief for Buffalo (5H, 4BB, 6K).
Ramirez joins the Bisons for the second time this season. He was with the Herd, May 20-27 appearing in two games, giving up two earned runs in five innings of work. He was 0-1 with a 5.49ERA in 11 games with Binghamton this season.
