
Metro Bank Park turns Blue as Senators Welcome Penn State Friday Night

Calling all Penn State fans, Friday night is your night. On Friday night, the Senators welcome NIT Most Valuable Player Jamelle Cornley, along with several other players to Metro Bank Park. The Senators begin a three-game series with the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees) Friday at 7:00pm with the gates opening at 5:30pm.
Cornley is throwing out a first pitch and signing 400 PSU posters on the boardwalk. He will also be on the air during the Senators radio broadcast on Friday night. Jamelle scored 18 points in the NIT Championship game, a 69-63 win for PSU over Baylor.
Fans will have the opportunity to photograph the NIT Championship Trophy. DVD's of the Men's Basketball NIT Championship run will be available for purchase as well. There will also be schedules and more available from the Men's basketball department. Metro Bank Park is turning into the Bryce Jordan Center of south central PA for one night.
During the game Blue Band Music will be played and the videoboard will definitely have a Blue and White tint to it on Friday night.
In addition to turning the park Blue, there's more for the entire family on Friday night. The first 1,000 fans will have the chance to collect the second cup in a series of three Senators commemorative cups to be given out this season courtesy of Pepsi. There are also post-game fireworks sponsored by Verizon Wireless and WINK 104.
