Baysox and Senators Washed Out
July 23, 2009 - Eastern League (EL1)
Chesapeake Baysox News Release
HARRISBURG - Pa. - The finale of the four-game set between the Baysox and Harrisburg was washed out due to inclement weather. No date has been announced to make up tonight's contest, as the Baysox return home after going 3-4 during their seven-game road trip
The Baysox open up a seven-game home stand Friday, June 24 against the Reading Phillies at Prince George's Stadium. The Baysox will be hosting a tribute to all dirty jobs, and fans are asked to bring their pillows for Bowie's Largest Pillow Fight after the game!
Fans can bring their pillows down to the field and join one of three areas of aggression. One area is for families with small children, one is for families with teenagers and one is for adults. All pillows will be inspected by members of Baysox staff before being allowed on to the field.
The Baysox 17th season as the class AA affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles is going strong! Check out www.baysox.com to see all that's going on at the stadium this year, and don't miss a moment of the action as the Baysox attempt to bring home their first Eastern League championship. Individual game tickets and ticket packages are available now at www.baysox.com or by calling the Baysox box office at (301) 464-4865.
