WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Sacramento starter Fernando Hernandez allowed 12 runs (11 earned) as the River Cats fell 13-3 to the Memphis Redbirds on Thursday night in the first game of an eight-game homestand at Raley Field. Memphis beat Sacramento in a three-game sweep to win last season's PCL Championship. On Thursday, lead-off batter James Rapaport went 4-for-6 with two runs and Mark Hamilton hit a second-inning grand slam to shut the door on Sacramento. River Cats left fielder Steve Tolleson hit his second home run of the season, a solo shot in the ninth.
