BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox invite fans to collect autographs at the first Meet The Team day Sunday, April 25, before the Baysox take on the Akron Aeros at 2:05 p.m. Baysox players and coaches are available for autographs from 12:30 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. on the concourse level of Prince George's Stadium. Pitching Coach Kennie Steenstra and that day's starting pitcher and catcher will not be available for autographs.
The Baysox boast two Maryland natives in right-handed starting pitchers Steve Johnson and Chorye Spoone and two of the Organization's top 10 prospects in lefty Zach Britton and catcher Caleb Joseph. Three 2009 Eastern League All-Stars are also currently on the roster; outfielder Miguel Abreu and relievers Chad Thall and Ryan Ouellette.
