* Grand Day.OF Nick Weglarz connected with his second home run of the season on Sunday afternoon against the B-Mets. Weglarz who was the designated hitter for the game, came to the plate with the bases loaded due to some timely singles from INF Carlos Rivero, INF Cord Phelps and INF Josh Rodriguez. The Aeros crossed home plate six times in that inning before Matt McBride grounded out to end the inning.
* Shaky Start.The Aeros pitching staff is off to a shaky start for the 2010 season but with the help of the Aeros offense they have managed to overcome the shaky start. Aeros starting pitchers have given up a total of 13 runs while the bullpen has given up a total of 14 runs in 4 games.
* Solid Starts.Today's starting pitcher LHP Ryan Edell started a total of 16 games for the Aeros during the 2009 season. Edell had a solid year at the Double-A Level going 4-1, 2.32 ERA while striking out 91 batters in 89.1 innings
* Santana Watch.Santana continues to dominate in the early going of the 2010 season for Columbus. Yesterday, he connected with his fourth home run of the season. He has now driven in eight runs in the first four games.
* Did You Know. On April 12, 1992 - Boston's Matt Young pitched eight no-hit innings at Cleveland but lost 2-1 in the opener of a doubleheader. In the second game, the Indians managed only two hits off Roger Clemens to set a major league record for fewest hits (2) in a doubleheader.
