Come out and meet 1986 New York Mets World Series Champion Kevin Mitchell at Mirabito Stadium on Saturday May 21st as the Binghamton Rumble Ponies play the Akron RubberDucks.
The 1989 National League Most Valuable Player and two-time All-Star played for the New York Mets, San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, Seattle Mariners, Cincinnati Reds, Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Guardians, and Oakland Athletics as part of a 13-year major league career. As a member of the Mets '86 World Series Championship team, he hit .277 with 12 home runs and 43 RBI in 108 games.
Mitchell will speak with the media from 4:45 PM to 5:00 PM in the Rumble Ponies dugout on the first base side of the field.
