
McRae Awarded NBA G League Player of the Week

The NBA G League announced today that Washington Wizards two-way player, Jordan McRae, was awarded the league's Player of the Week award for the week of January 7 - 13. McRae averaged 32.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game, while shooting 52.2 percent from the field and 95.5 percent from the free throw line during the week, leading the Go-Go to a 3-0 record.
With his 43-point game on January 8 against Texas, McRae became the only player in the league with three 40-plus-point games this season. He followed that performance with 33 points and six assists against Greensboro for his eighth 30-point game of the season. McRae finished the week with 22 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals against the Long Island Nets. McRae also went 21-of-22 from the free throw line during the week, including a 13-for-13 performance against Texas.
During Capital City's six-game winning streak to start 2019, McRae has averaged a league-leading 33.2 points to go along with 5.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. McRae is shooting 47.1 percent from the field and has scored at least 30 points in four-of-the-six Go-Go wins.
