
McPherson Heads to Rochester

ELMIRA, NY - October 21, 2015 - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, announced today that forward Allan McPherson has been recalled by the Rochester Americans.
McPherson, 24, is the Jackals' leading scorer with three points (one goal, two assists) in the first two games of the season. He recorded all three points in Saturday's 4-2 win, which was his sixth multi-point game in 26 career contests with Elmira. Last season, the Kinburn, Ontario native notched 23 points (eight goals, 15 assists) in 24 games with the Jackals and added eight points (three goals, five assists) in 44 games with Rochester. McPherson also skated in five contests with the AHL's Abbotsford Heat at the end of the 2013-14 season following the conclusion of his collegiate career at Clarkson University, where he amassed 103 points (41 goals, 62 assists) in 150 NCAA games.
