INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - The Kansas City Mavericks faceoff against the the Rapid City Rush tonight at 7:05 p.m. at Cable Dahmer Arena.

Ozzy Returns

Defenseman Zach Osburn has returned from the Tucson Roadrunners of the American Hockey League. In nine games for the Mavericks, Osburn tallied four points on one goal and three assists.

Orange Streak

The Mavericks are 4-1-0-0 in their last five games and are currently ranked fourth in the Western Conference.

Goaltender of the Week

Mavericks goaltender Matt Greenfield was named the Warrior Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for the week of January 25-31. The 25-year-old went 2-0-0 with one shutout last week.

Two for Bordson

Mavericks forward Rob Bordson turned in his first multi-goal performance of the season Saturday night with a first period goal and the game winning goal in overtime.

Multiples

The Mavericks had two players register multi-point games on Saturday night. In addition to Rob Bordson's two points on two goals, Brodie Reid registered two points on two assists.

Hard at Work

The Mavericks are in the midst of their busiest slate of the schedule, with a total of 14 games on the schedule in the 28-day month of February.

Remarkable Romeo

Mavericks goaltender Sean Romeo turned in a 30-save performance Saturday against the Tulsa Oilers. Romeo posted a 0.99 goals against average and a save percentage of .968 on Saturday night.
