Mavericks Reschedule Tuesday's Game vs. Denver for March 13

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The Missouri Mavericks, in conjunction with the Central Hockey League (CHL) announced the game between the Mavericks and Denver Cutthroats this Tuesday, February 26 at Independence Events Center has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 13 at 7:05 p.m. Due to the storm already in Colorado and heading to Missouri, the teams and the league want to ensure the safety of the fans and teams respectively.

All tickets purchased for Tuesday's game will be honored on March 13. The Mavericks will still present it as a Price Chopper Two-for-One game in which fans can purchase two-for-one tickets. To do so, fans must show a Price Chopper card in person in the Silverstein Eye Centers Box Office or online at Ticketmaster.com by typing the code "ChopperXXXX" with the Xs representing the last four digits of the Price Chopper Card (certain restrictions apply).

"The safety of our players is of primary concern therefore we have been very proactive with the current situation," said Mavericks' President and General Manager Brent Thiessen. "We decided to push the game back to a date that works for both teams."

The Mavericks' next scheduled home game is Friday, March 1 against the Quad City Mallards. Tickets on are sale via Ticketmaster.com, by calling (800) 745-3000 or by heading to the Silverstein Eye Centers Box Office.
