SASKATOON - The Saskatoon Blades announced today that forward prospect Matthew Mosher has been signed to a Standard Western Hockey League Player Agreement.

The 15-year-old product of White Rock, BC, was chosen by the Blades in the 3rd Round, 45th overall in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft. The 5-foot-11, 179-pound right winger spent the 2014-15 season with the Delta Hockey Academy Wild Bantam Prep, in Delta, BC, scoring 11 goals and adding 2 assists in 18 games.

"We have big hopes for him and I think the style that he plays is something the people of Saskatoon are looking for." said Head Coach and GM Bob Woods. "He's one of those rugged wingers who can contribute offensively and also be a guy that makes it tough on the other teams."

"He just doesn't look out of place" mentioned Woods about Mosher's game over the course of camp. "He's going to be a big part of this organization moving forward."

Training Camp officially comes to an end with the annual Blue vs. White game taking place tonight (Friday, September 4th) at 7:00pm at SaskTel Centre. Admission is free. The Blades kick off their preseason schedule on Sunday when they travel to Lloydminster to face the Edmonton Oil Kings in the "Battle at the Border".
