Matt Boyd Promoted to Dunedin

LANSING, Mich. - The Lansing Lugnuts, in conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, announced that Matt Boyd has been promoted to Class A-Advanced Dunedin. There is no corresponding move.

Boyd, 22, made five appearances for the Lugnuts, three of them starts, compiling an 0-1 record with a 0.64 ERA thanks to allowing only one run in 14 innings. The Blue Jays' 6th round pick in June's draft out of Oregon State, Boyd walked just one batter while striking out 12.

The Lansing roster now consists of 24 active players with four players on the Disabled List and one player on the Temporarily Inactive List.
