Matrix fall to Frost Heaves
December 17, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Montreal Royal News Release
Montreal, Qc. On Saturday night at the Pierre-Charbonneau Center, the outmanned Montreal Matrix fell to the powerhouse Vermont Frost Heaves, 112-71. The Matrix were shorthanded again as injuries and illness continued to take its toll. The team worked very hard and were able to lead the game during much of the fist half. However, after the break, Vermont came back strong with its superior bench and took a commanding lead in the third quarter and went on to a strong victory. Bobby Miller led Montreal with 15 followed by Denburk Reid with 14.
