Texas Tycoons News Release
Houston, TX - Texas Tycoons defeat Houston Undertakers in Houston, 134-101. The Undertakers and Tycoons are well known for their ability to put points on the board. Averaging over 130 points a game, each team had reason to believe that they would have the firepower to outscore the other but this game came down to defense. Scoring for Houston was Carlos Weaver with 21, Emmanuel White (5'11''-G-82, college: Harding) 15, Jai Pradia (6'6''-F-79, college: Pittsburg St.) 13, and Emerald Womack had 12. The match-up between Texas and Arkansas is being promoted as the Christmas Classic and will be one of two dates this season to be played at the Desoto Town Center in Desoto, Texas. Saturday December 23rd vs. the Arkansas RiverCatz and Saturday December 29th vs. the Waco Wranglers.
