December 17, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Arkansas Aeros News Release
SPRINGDALE, Ark. -- The American Basketball Association contest between the Arkansas Aeros and Houston Undertakers scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 17 has been cancelled due to travel difficulties for Houston.
The game will not be rescheduled and will result in a forfeit by the Undertakers, according to Brad Hester, ABA vice president for team operations.
The Aeros (13-2) are set to resume their home schedule on Friday, Dec. 22 when they face the St. Louis Stunners in a 7:05 p.m. tip-off at the All-Star Sports Arena in Springdale.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
