Aeros hold on to top spot

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today released its Power Rankings through Saturday, December 16th and the Arkansas Aeros held onto the #1 spot following closely by the fast rising Vermont Frost Heaves and Minnesota Ripknees. According to Brad Hester, ABA VP of Team Operations, "We have some very strong teams in this league and I believe the battle for the #1 spot will continue throughout the season. The Texas Tycoons made the biggest jump this week from 12th to 5th and two new teams jumped into the Top 24 - the Maywood Buzz and the Buffalo Silverbacks. We should see a lot of shifting going on as it seems that all of the teams are capable of winning on any given night against any opponent." The Rankings:
