November 16, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Montreal Royal News Release

Montreal , November 16, 2007 - The Montreal Royal defeated the Syracuse Raging Bullz 147-106. During the first half, the Royal outscored the Raging Bullz 75-63. Denburk Reid and Bobby Miller were a key factor in this half. Shawn Corbin celebrated his birthday with several points and Tommy Mitchell, a promising point guard, showcased his talent with some spectacular plays.

The second half saw the Royal outplay and outscore the Raging Bullz. Tommy Mitchell ended up the match as the leading scorer for the Royal with 28 points. Bobby Miller and Claude Delmas each scored 23 points, while Denburk Reid, at 5'7'' only, scored 20 points.

The Royal was back from a second match against the Vermont Frost Heaves, ABA's champion team. The Royal was seeking revenge from last week's defeat and even scored 51 points in the third quarter only. But at the end, Vermont's team won 113-105.

During half time, young women from College Letendre played for the attendees. It is Royal's way to show the growing popularity of basketball in the greater Montreal region.

The Royal will be receiving Quebec's Kebs next Friday, November 23.
