Royals fans invited to three games before Christmas

November 29, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Montreal Royal News Release

Montreal , November 29, 207 - On December 14, 16 and 21, Montreal Royal will offer basketball fans three games against tough opponents. That's Royals way to wish fans a Merry Christmas.

The Manchester Millrats will be in town on Friday, December 14. "Last time the Millrats played against us, says Pascal Jobin, they were victorious by a three-point margin." The next Sunday, December 16, our friends from Quebec City will be in town. No doubt they will try to win again over the Royal.

December 14 and 16 games will be played at Centre Pierre-Charbonneau. However, on December 21, the Montreal Royal moves to John Abbott College in Ste. Anne de Bellevue. On this occasion, ABA reigning champions, the Vermont Frost Heaves, will be competing with the Royal who almost beat them last time they met.

Our 13th players for these three games will be selected from a list of very well known sports figures in Montreal. Their identity will be announced shortly.

Tickets for these games are available on-line at www.monbillet.ca and at Centre Pierre-Charbonneau 514 872-6644.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
