
Match Preview: Carolina RailHawks Host Ottawa Fury FC

CARY, NC (April 3, 2014) - The Carolina RailHawks will kick-off the 2015 NASL Regular Season on Saturday, when they host Canadian rival Ottawa Fury FC at WakeMed Soccer Park. Saturday's Season Opener is scheduled to kick-off at 1:00pm ET and it will be broadcasted live on ESPN3 and via radio on 99.9HD-3 The Ticket.
"We are ready to get the 2015 season started," said RailHawks Head Coach Colin Clarke. "It's going to be important to make sure we start the spring season on with a good result. We have an experienced and talented group of players and we are looking forward to a successful season."
Fans will get their first look at the full 2015 roster on Saturday. The RailHawks will be led by a combination of familiar faces and newcomers including Nacho Novo, Kupono Low, and Wells Thompson.
The RailHawks 2014 campaign was highlighted by a deep run in the U.S. Open Cup. The team defeated Chivas USA and LA Galaxy in their journey to the quarterfinals before falling to FC Dallas. The RailHawks will look to build off of their 5th place NASL Fall season finish.
Colin Clarke's squad is coming off of last weekend's 0-0 tie against FC Edmonton. With victories over Seoul E-Land FC and the UNCW Men's team during preseason play.
Ottawa comes into WakeMed Soccer Park hot after an undefeated preseason. The Fury enjoyed victories over FC Montreal, Toronto FC, Syracuse University, Wake Forest University, and a draw against the Rochester Rhinos.

Jack Coleman Added to Roster Ahead of 2015 Season
The Carolina RailHawks are pleased to announce the signing of Jack Coleman ahead of the 2015 season. The 22-year-old will look to help strengthen the RailHawks defense for the NASL Spring Season. Coleman played soccer at the high school level during his freshman and sophomore years in Norman, Oklahoma. He joined FC Dallas' youth academy during his junior year and helped FC Dallas reach the finals of the U.S. Development Academy U-17/18 championship. Coleman was also a part of the U-18 National Team for the 2011 Lisbon International Tournament and scored a hat trick in the 2009 National ODP Championship final. Coleman graduated from Duke University in 2014.
Who to Watch
RailHawks forward Nacho Novo will be entering his second season with the RailHawks. Novo debuted in the NASL on October 19, 2014 against Fort Lauderdale Strikers. He clocked 331 minutes in eight appearances and scored three goals for the RailHawks. Novo, a forward with 17-years of professional experience, spent most of his playing career with Glasgow Rangers where he won three Scottish Premier League Championships, one Scottish Cup Championship and two Scottish League Cups during his seven years with the club.
