NASL Matches to be Carried by ESPN International Broadband Platforms
Published on April 3, 2015 under North American Soccer League (NASL) News Release
NEW YORK (April 3, 2015) - North American Soccer League (NASL) matches will be available to international fans on a weekly basis this year.
Through the league's streaming agreement with ESPN, every NASL match will be available to fans in, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East (ESPN Player); Brazil (WatchESPN); Latin America, and the Caribbean (ESPN Play); and Oceania (ESPN3.com).
"We are extremely happy to work with ESPN to stream the 2015 NASL season around the world," said NASL Commissioner Bill Peterson. "ESPN and NASL will provide soccer fans with incredible matches and give fans from around the world a chance to watch some of their favorite players and clubs each week."
Much like U.S. viewers do with ESPN3, most of ESPN International's broadband platforms require authentication via a subscription service provider, but carry no additional cost.
E SPN Player is a subscription product that is available in more than 50 countries in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. Viewers will need to purchase a subscription to view matches, with subscriptions available for one day, one month or full season. Fans can subscribe and get further information at www.espnplayer.com.
The 2015 NASL season kicks off this Saturday with five exciting matchups, including Spanish legend Raul's first ever league game when the New York Cosmos visit the Fort Lauderdale Strikers.
