Atlanta holds a 5-3-3 all-time record against expansion teams, including a 2-1-2 record at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and a combined record of 14-7-7 against teams that have joined MLS since 2017.
Atlanta returns home for two consecutive matches against Charlotte and then Montreal on March 19 where the club is tied for the third-most home wins in MLS since 2017 with 53 (regular season and playoffs).
Both teams will be looking to bounce back after losses last weekend, as Atlanta fell 3-0 at Colorado Rapids on March 5 while Charlotte dropped its inaugural home match 1-0 to Los Angeles Galaxy.
Heading into Week 3 action, Atlanta ranks third in MLS in big chances created with seven, trailing New York Red Bulls (11) and Austin (eight).
