ATLANTA - Atlanta United 2 returns to action on Friday, Sept. 21 when it faces North Carolina FC at Coolray Field. The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:00 p.m. EST and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

Atlanta United 2 returns to Coolray Field Friday night to begin a run of seven-straight home matches to close out the 2018 USL regular season.

ATL UTD 2 is coming off a 1-0 defeat against Tampa Bay Rowdies last Saturday at Al Lang Stadium. While the Rowdies failed to put a shot on target in the second half, Sebastian Guenzatti's 30th minute goal proved to be enough to outlast Atlanta. Newly-signed Brazilian forward Rodolfo made his team debut as a substitute in the second half.

North Carolina FC topped Penn FC 1-0 on Sunday, Sept. 16. Daniel Rios scored the game's lone goal in the 11th minute. Atlanta and North Carolina first met May 25th at WakeMed Soccer Park. North Carolina FC scored a pair of goals in each half to claim a 4-0 win.

ATL UTD 2 is 3-2-5 at Coolray Field while North Carolina is 4-5-4 on the road.
