The Lagos, Nigeria, native recorded his first Goal of the Week of 2018 in spectacular fashion in first-half stoppage time. Adi chested the ball to his right foot and chipped the ball over Toronto's Lars Eckenrode, where he ran onto it and headed it forward to create space and play himself into the 18-yard box. Once in the box, Adi calmly side-footed the ball past Toronto's Caleb Patterson-Sewell for his second USL goal.
On the year, Adi has made seven appearances, including two starts. He has scored for the Orange and Blue in each of FC Cincinnati's last two home matches.
First-place FC Cincinnati (20-3-6, 66 pts.) opens its two-match road trip in a contest against Penn FC (9-12-8, 35 pts.) on Saturday at 7 p.m. The game will be televised live on WSTR 64 and streamed live on ESPN+.
