ATLANTA - Atlanta United 2 will face Louisville City Sunday at Louisville Slugger Field. The match is scheduled to kick-off at 3:00 p.m. EST and can be seen live on ESPN+.

Atlanta travels to Louisville Slugger Field Sunday to face Louisville City for the second meeting this season. Louisville won 1-0 on March 15 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium behind a second half goal from Abdou Thiam.

ATL UTD 2 defeated Loudoun United 4-2 last Friday at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. Bienvenue Kanakimana scored a hat trick to lead Atlanta while Jackson Conway scored his third goal of the season. After his performance against Loudoun, Kanakimana was voted USL Championship's Player of the Week for Week 22. He has scored six goals in his last three matches and leads the team.

Louisville topped Charlotte Independence 1-0 last Saturday, Aug. 3. Paco Craig was sent off in the 60th minute, however the Independence's Alex Martinez was also shown a red card in the 72nd minute. With both teams down to 10 men, Louisville was able to find the breakthrough goal from Luke Spencer in the 80th minute.
