Mastroeni, the New Man in Charge

Colorado Rapids News Release
As the Colorado Rapids get set to start their 2014 MLS season, we wish a warm welcome to the club's Head Coach, Pablo Mastroeni.
Mastroeni had been in charge of first-team duties throughout much of preseason, and was handed the top job last weekend, just a few months after retiring as a player.
As a player, the former US international enjoyed an 11-year run in Colorado that included an MLS Cup championship and 225 career appearances under four different coaches.
He left for the LA Galaxy in the middle of last season, where he was reunited with former national team coach Bruce Arena, before ending his playing career at the conclusion of 2013.
