Marlies Release Andy Rogers From PTO Contract

Jeff Jackson, General Manager of the Toronto Marlies, announced today that the club has released defenceman Andy Rogers from his professional try-out contract.

Rogers, 23, a native of Calgary, Alberta played in six games with the Marlies this season, recording zero points and 29 penalty minutes.

The Marlies continue their four-game homestand tomorrow night against the Chicago Wolves, AHL affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers, at Ricoh Coliseum with puck drop scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Friday's game will air live on Rogers TV Cable 10 in Toronto and 63 in Scarborough.
