Marlies Recall Goaltender Ben Scrivens from Reading

Dave Nonis, General Manager of the Toronto Marlies, announced today that the club has recalled goaltender Ben Scrivens from their ECHL affiliate, the Reading Royals.

Scrivens, 22, has appeared in five games with the Royals, posting a record of 2-3-0 with a 2.85 goals against average and 0.919 save percentage. The Spruce Grove, Alberta native collected his first career ECHL victory on October 16, making 31 stops in the Royals' 6-5 victory over the Trenton Devils.

The Marlies continue their four-game week when they travel to Houston on Friday night to take on the Aeros, with puck-drop scheduled for 8:35 p.m. (ET).
