Pitton and Bendfeld Assigned to Stockton

Oklahoma City - The Oklahoma City Barons assigned defenseman Jordan Bendfeld and goaltender Bryan Pitton to the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL earlier today.

Pitton, a 6-3, 205-pounder from Mississiagua, Ont. has been with the Barons since training camp in September. He appeared in one game for the Barons, winning his lone start on October 17 against Houston.

Bendfeld, a 6-3, 245-pound native of Leduc, Alberta attended the Barons training camp and was assigned to Stockton prior to their season opener. He was recalled by the Barons in late October.

The Barons bring a four-game winning streak to the table this weekend when they host three games beginning Friday when they host the Texas Stars. The first 2,000 fans 12-and-over through the doors will receive a Barons adult practice jersey. Saturday, the Houston Aeros invade the Cox Convention Center. After the games Friday and Saturday, Barons players will be available for a 30-minute autograph session outside the team store. Faceoff for both games is 7:05 p.m.

Sunday, Oklahoma City rounds out its weekend against the Toronto Marlies at 5:05 p.m. Fans will have the chance to skate with five Barons players following the game. Fans may bring their own skates or skates will be available for rent at no charge.
