
Marlies Announce Game Time Change

Toronto Marlies News Release
The Toronto Marlies announced Thursday, that the start time for the team's third home game on Saturday, October 20 versus the Hamilton Bulldogs - AHL Affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens - has been changed from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Along with the time change, the team announced that two of their first three home games will be broadcast across Canada on Rogers Sportsnet ONE. Toronto's home opener on Saturday, October 13 against the Rochester Americans - AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres - will be carried live on Sportsnet ONE, with puck drop set for 5 p.m. The Marlies home game on Saturday, October 20 against North Division rival Hamilton, will also be broadcast nationwide on Sportsnet ONE.
Hockey Central host Jeff Marek will be joined by analysts Brad May and John Shannon for pre-game and intermission analysis. Joe Bowen, Greg Millen and Paul Hendrick will provide the call from Toronto for both games on Sportsnet ONE.
In a press release this afternoon, AHL President and Chief Executive Officer David Andrews commented on the league's partnership with Sportsnet, "As we prepare to embark on an exciting 2012-13 season in the American Hockey League, we are thrilled to be teaming with Sportsnet to bring our sport's best young talent into the homes of our fans across Canada."
