Hogs Home for Preseason Tilt Tonight, Novak and Trask Released

Rockford, Ill.- With one preseason exhibition in the books, the Rockford IceHogs return the ice tonight to take on the Milwaukee Admirals at 7:05 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank Center.

There is no admission fee for tonight game courtesy of the Rockford Register Star. There will not be a broadcast for tonight's game.

Tonight's game is the lone home preseason contest slated for the IceHogs. Rockford fell 6-1 in their exhibition opener on Wednesday in Rolling Meadows against the Chicago Wolves and will conclude the preseason schedule on Saturday in Peoria.

Some IceHogs players will see their first preseason action tonight, including goalie Carter Hutton who is expected to get the start in goal. Here is the remainder of Rockford's lineup for tonight's game against Milwaukee:

Forwards: Philippe Paradis, Wade Brookbank, Marcus Kruger, Jimmy Hayes, Brandon Bollig, Ben Smith, Andrew Shaw, Byron Froese, Brandon Pirri, Peter LeBlanc, Chris DeSousa and Martin St. Pierre

Defenseman: Adam Clendening, Ben Youds, Joe Lavin, Nick Leddy, Shawn Lalonde and Brett Lebda

Goalies: Carter Hutton and Mac Carruth

Next Home Game: Saturday, Oct. 20 vs. Charlotte Checkers. Game time is 7:05 p.m. The IceHogs open the home portion of their regular season slate against the Checkers at the BMO Harris Bank Center. The first 5,000 fans to the game will pick up an IceHogs "It All Starts Here" calendar.
