
Hamilton Bulldogs Game against the Toronto Marlies to be Aired on Sportsnet One

SPRINGFIELD, MA - The American Hockey League and Sportsnet, entering the second year of a five-year relationship, announced today that Sportsnet will begin coverage of the AHL's 77th season with three live, national Saturday night broadcasts this month.
One of these games includes the Hamilton Bulldogs visiting the Toronto Marlies (AHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs) at Ricoh Coliseum on Saturday, October 20th at 7 p.m., the day after the 'Dogs home-opener against the Marlies at Copps Coliseum. The game will air live across Canada in high definition on Sportsnet ONE. Hockey Central host Jeff Marek will be joined by analysts Brad May and John Shannon for pre-game and intermission analysis while Joe Bowen, Greg Millen and Paul Hendrick will provide the call from Toronto.

The Hamilton Bulldogs travelled to Trenton, Ontario today to continue training camp with on-ice sessions and team-building activities at 8 Wing/CFB Trenton. The 'Dogs will play two exhibition games against the Marlies on Saturday, October 6th in Cobourg, Ontario and on Monday, October 8th in Brantford, Ontario. The Bulldogs' 17th season-opener is scheduled for Saturday, October 13th at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan where they will play the Griffins. The team's home-opener is set for Friday, October 19th when they will host the Marlies at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton.
