December 2, 2002 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Tulsa Oilers News Release

TULSA, OK- Tulsa Oilers forward Todd Marcellus has been named the Central Hockey League Player of the Week for his play last week, the CHL office announced this afternoon.

Marcellus provided much of the Oilers' offensive spark in their three victories last week. He tallied five goals, two of which were game-winning strikes, during the week to help the Northwest Division-leading Oilers improve their record to 18-2-0. The 5-10, 185 pound forward leads the CHL with 17 goals on the season and is tied for second with 32 points. His plus/minus rating of +19 ranks him second in the CHL to only teammate Jamie Steer's +21.

The Oilers will be back in action tomorrow night as they host the Memphis RiverKings at the Tulsa Convention Center. The puck drops at 7:05, as Tulsa will be looking to win their eleventh-straight home game to open the season.

Tickets for tomorrow's game are available at local Drug Marts, the Tulsa Convention Center Box Office, the Oilers office, or by phone at 584-2000.
