
Buzzards' waive forward

EL PASO, Texas â The El Paso Buzzards announced that forward Tommy Bolduc has been released and put on waivers. With the return of left wingers Russ Guzior and Troy Linna from the injured reserved list, Bolduc's release cuts the Buzzards' roster down to 18 players. Bolduc appeared in 15 games for the Buzzards, recording no goals or assists, but earning 69 penalty minutes and a plus/minus rating of -6.
Bolduc, a 6-2, 205 lb. forward from Beauport, PQ, is in his second professional season and first in the Central Hockey League. Last season he played for four teams: Chicoutimi Sagueneens of the Quebec Junior Major Hockey League, the Mississippi Sea Wolves of the East Coast Hockey League and the Fort Wayne Komets and Knoxville Speed of the United Hockey League.
The Buzzards travel to Odessa to face the Jackalopes at 6 p.m. this Friday, December 6th in the Odessa Ector County Coliseum. The Buzzards' next home game will be at 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 12th, at the El Paso County Coliseum against the Amarillo Gorillas.
