
Marc Cantin Reassigned to Stockton (ECHL)

UNIONDALE, N.Y. (April 3, 2014) - The New York Islanders announced today that defenseman Marc Cantin has been reassigned from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (AHL) to the Stockton Thunder (ECHL).
Cantin, 24, has played in 63 games for the Sound Tigers over parts of the past three seasons, including 39 in 2013-14. He skated in 29 games for the Sound Tigers last season and appeared in six games with the Las Vegas Wranglers in the ECHL. Cantin was initially signed to an entry-level contract by the Boston Bruins in 2011 after four seasons of junior hockey in the OHL.
